About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and self-motivated Account Executive to lead growth and customer engagement across the Southeastern U.S. region. This strategic sales role is ideal for someone with deep industry relationships, a consultative approach, and a proven ability to position complex security solutions in critical infrastructure verticals such as energy, utilities, manufacturing, and government.
Job Description
- Drive new business and expansion sales across enterprise and public sector accounts on the west coast
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline aligned with regional and company revenue goals.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Channel teams to deliver tailored solutions that address complex OT/IT cybersecurity needs.
- Position Xage’s XPAM and SRA offerings to address customer pain points around regulatory compliance (e.g., NERC CIP, TSA Directives), vendor access, Zero Trust mandates, and legacy system protection.
- Lead RFP responses, executive presentations, and negotiations through to close.
- Cultivate relationships with senior security and infrastructure decision-makers.
- Stay current on competitive landscape and regional market dynamics.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with a focus on cybersecurity, identity, or infrastructure software.
- Deep understanding of OT and industrial environments; strong grasp of cybersecurity concepts including Zero Trust, PAM, and remote access.
- Proven success selling to CISOs, CIOs, and technical buyers in regulated industries.
- Familiarity with compliance drivers like NERC CIP, TSA security directives, and Zero Trust architecture frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cybersecurity solutions targeting critical infrastructure (energy, utilities, manufacturing, defense).
- Prior experience selling solutions like CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Claroty—but with the drive to champion a next-generation platform like Xage
- Have 3+ years of experience in high-tech B2B software/SaaS industries with minimum of 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Sales Development/Business Development functions with strong oral and written communication skills
- Be organized and able to build and execute on strategic plans, working collaboratively across various levels of the organization
- Startup experience and strong desire to operate and overachieve is a must
- Bachelor’s degree
Salary Range $280K to $320K OTE
