The Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our core engineering team. In this role, you won’t just be maintaining legacy systems; you will be designing, building, and scaling security software for multiple products.
What You’ll Do
- Build & Scale: Design and implement robust, high-performance backend services and APIs for our Zero Trust Security Fabric.
- Own Features: Take ownership of features from architectural design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Optimize Performance: Write clean, concurrent, and highly efficient code capable of running seamlessly at the network edge and in the cloud.
- Collaborate: Partner closely with product management, security researchers, and front-end teams to deliver frictionless user experiences without compromising security.
- Elevate the Team: Participate in code reviews, share technical insights, and help maintain high engineering standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience shipping production-grade backend code.
- Language Proficiency: Strong experience in Golang is desirable. Alternatively, deep expertise in systems-level or backend languages like C++, Rust, Java, or Python, combined with a strong desire to pivot to Go.
- Distributed Systems: A solid understanding of concurrency, asynchronous programming, and building scalable distributed applications.
- CS Fundamentals: Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- The Startup Mindset: Comfort with ambiguity, a bias for action, and the ability to adapt quickly as our product and team scale.
Bonus Points If You Have…
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native ecosystems.
- A background or strong interest in cybersecurity concepts (cryptography, PKI, OAuth, IAM, Zero Trust).
- Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, gRPC, MQTT).
- Experience working with IoT, OT (Operational Technology), or industrial control systems.

- Salary Range: $115,000 – $145,000 p/yr + Equity
