About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Program Management to lead and coordinate complex, cross-functional projects across engineering, product management, customer success, and sales. This role is based in Palo Alto, CA and reports directly to the CTO. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with exceptional communication and collaboration skills, capable of aligning diverse stakeholders to deliver high-impact outcomes. Responsibilities include planning and executing large-scale initiatives, managing project risks, tracking progress through tools like Jira, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The role requires navigating fast-paced environments, shifting priorities, and handling customer escalations with agility and poise.
About You
- 10+ years of experience in program or project management
- 5+ years managing large-scale, complex initiatives
- Adept at managing ambiguity, constrained resources, and evolving requirements
- Strong leadership presence with a collaborative and proactive approach
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams
- Skilled at navigating dynamic, high-pressure environments
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Proficiency in Jira or similar project management tools
- Demonstrated success in risk management and issue resolution
- Experience managing projects within fast-paced, cross-functional organizations
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Prior experience working with federal agencies (DoD, DHS, or related) is a strong plus
